Penn AC’s Erick Winstead will be competing for another spot on the US National Team on Wednesday, June 24. He is rowing in a coxed pair with Vesper’s Taylor Brown (Penn AC alum) and cox Jacob Mendelson. They had the fastest time in the time trial on Sunday. If they win, they earn the right to represent the US at the World Championships in France at the end of August. Winstead and Brown have already qualified for the US Men’s 8 that will compete at the Pan American Games in St. Catharines, Ontario July 11-15. It is Winstead’s first time on the US National Team!
